1990 TOYOTA MASTER ACE SURF 4wd VAN
This base model Master Ace Surf features a manual 5-speed transmission, hi-low range 4wd transfer case, and Toyota’s 2CT 2.0 liter turbo diesel. This entry-level model is unencumbered by air conditioning components and plush interior details, yet features the ever-desirable Skylite Roof. Upon it’s completion, this van was picked up from our shop by its new owner, then immediately road-tripped cross country from Portland, Oregon to Shrewsbury, Vermont. The van performed wonderfully, and the new owner arrived home without issue.
Much love went into making this van 'road-trip-ready'. Consistent with all the vans we sell, she has received a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new camshaft oil seal, new crankshaft oil seal, ne oil pump seal, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, transmission oil, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh differential oil, and fresh transmission oil. On top of all that, she has brand new all-terrain tires and a modest suspension lift. We also installed a brand new battery, repacked the front wheel bearings, set the steering alignment, and had the van fully detailed inside and out. Many other smaller repairs and upgrades were made during the inspection and testing process.
