1994 TOYOTA Hiace HiTop 4wd Camper Van
This Reimo camper came to us in need of a fair bit of body and paint work which required the removal of the original decal on the right side. We recreated the design digitally, and had a new decal made, matching the original on the left. We’re very pleased with the final product.
Whilst addressing the interior, we installed a new Max Air roof vent, new 200ah AGM auxiliary battery, new propane tank and gas hoses, new sink faucet and drain, and several smaller repairs to the cabinets.
On top of our standard full mechanical overhaul, the van also received a new clutch, including the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, flywheel resurface, and new rear main seal. We also replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders.
During the testing process, I found that the van had a slight pull when breaking hard, so we rebuilt the front brake calipers and flushed the brake fluid system.
New BFG all terrain tires and a 2.5” suspension lift were installed, and come standard on all our Hiaces.
The van also received a full maintenance overhaul- new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new cam and crank oil seals, new main drive belts, motor oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, all new coolant hoses, all new fuel hoses, front and rear diff gear oil, transfer case gear oil, transmission gear oil. Needless to say, we put a lot of love into this beauty.
