Artfully balancing form and function, Vanlife Northwest developed the Space Cabin™ camper conversion for the Toyota Hiace van. Renown worldwide for its durability and versatility, the Hiace was chosen as the platform for the build as its compact size and 4wd lend itself to adventures down the road less traveled.
This HiAce clocks 125,000 original miles, which is really only getting started for Toyota’s 1KZ model 3.0 liter turbo diesel engine, renown for its power, reliability, and long-life. It has the rare 5-speed manual transmission, full-time 4wd, and the triple moonroof configuration up top.
