1993 TOYOTA Hiace Hi-Roof 4wd Camper Van
1993 TOYOTA Hiace Hi-Roof 4wd Camper Van
This HiAce camper is built on the LH129 chassis, with Toyota’s 3L model 2.8 liter diesel engine, and 5-speed manual transmission with high/low range true 4wd. It clocks a very low 22,000 original miles, which is really only getting started for Toyota's 3L, known to exceed 500,000 miles before a rebuild is required.
This Hiace is the longest of its generation, and was converted into a camper in Japan in 1993.
Upgrades to the camper include:
• New faucet
• new water pump
• new water line
• new 200ah camper battery
• new camper electrical system with battery isolation & bluetooth battery monitoring
The camper build has a nice open feel. As shown in the photos, the camper sleeps 4, with the lower seating converting into a bed, and an upper bunk for 2, constructed with the stored padded bed slats.
