1993 TOYOTA HiAce Commuter High-Roof Van
The largest of the 4th generation Hiace, this 2wd commuter model features a long wheelbase and high-roof, making it perfectly suited for your DIY camper conversion, or large family adventure mobile. Powered by Toyota’s legendarily stable 3L 2.8 liter naturally aspirated diesel, this van clocks merely 25,000 original miles, and is set to live a long second life here in The States. Upon it’s completion, this van was picked up from our shop by its new owner, then immediately road-tripped cross country from Portland, Oregon to Alaska. The van performed wonderfully, and the new owner arrived home without issue.
Much love went into making this van 'road-trip-ready'. Consistent with all the vans we sell, she has received a full timing belt job and maintenance update: new timing belt, new idler and tensioner pulleys, new camshaft and crankshaft seal, new water pump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush, transmission fluid, fresh motor oil and filter, all new drive belts, new fuel filter, new air filter, fresh differential oil, timing cover gasket, AC idler pulley, and intake crossover hose. On top of all that, she has brand new all-terrain tires and all new coolant carrying hoses. Many other smaller repairs and upgrades were made during the inspection and testing process.
