1996 TOYOTA Hiace Hi-Top 4wd Camper Van
1996 TOYOTA Hiace Hi-TOP 4wd Camper Van
This HiAce camper is built on the LH119 chassis, with Toyota’s 3L model 2.8 liter diesel engine and automatic transmission with full-time 4wd. It clocks a very low 32,000 original miles, which is really only getting started for Toyota's 3L, known to exceed 500,000 miles before a rebuild is required.
This Hiace is in immaculate condition, and was converted into a camper in Japan in 1996.
Upgrades to the camper include:
• new Dometic 50L fridge/freezer
• new LED lights
• new 100ah lithium camper battery
• new fresh water jugs and water lines
• new camper electrical system with battery isolation & bluetooth battery monitoring
The camper build has a nice open feel. As shown in the photos, the camper sleeps 4, with the lower seating converting into a bed, and an upper bunk for 2, constructed with the stored padded bed slats. It also features a working Webasto diesel parking heater.
